Margaret loves no other city like San Francisco, her home since 1996. And she loves nothing more than helping others find their home here. Her passion for the San Francisco Bay Area is rooted in its rich history, natural beauty, cultural diversity, superior cuisine, and temperate climate.
Margaret has followed an unconventional path to real estate: over 14 years as an attorney practicing employment law and telecom regulation, following a JD from UC Berkeley and a BA in Art from Yale.
Margaret believes our homes shape both our daily happiness and our long-term financial future, and buying or selling one is one of life's most significant decisions. She draws on her experience — careful listening, clear-eyed advocacy, meticulous attention to detail — to guide clients through the deeply personal, and often aesthetic, endeavor of finding the right home. Her goal is always for clients to feel genuinely informed and empowered, never rushed, at every step.
Whether you're buying your first home or selling one you've cherished for years, she brings that same rigor, discretion, and dedication — now in service of your real estate goals.
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys watching prestige television, baking bundt cakes, sewing, and local knitting circles. She also continues to volunteer as a pro bono attorney for Kids in Need of Defense. Having lived all over San Francisco — from the Avenues to Mission Bay — Margaret currently makes her home in Potrero Hill/Dogpatch with her partner and their two beloved Russian Blue kitties.
